Buying an eSIM from the store
Will this work on my phone?＋
It needs a phone that supports eSIM and is not locked to one network. Most handsets sold since 2018 qualify, but the only answer that counts is the one for your exact model — check your phone here before you buy.
When do my days start?＋
When the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination — not when you buy it, and not when you install it. So you can buy today, install it at home over Wi-Fi, and leave the line switched off until you land.
How do I install it?＋
You get a QR code and an activation code by email within a minute of paying. Scan or paste it in your phone’s eSIM settings, then switch the line on and turn data roaming on for it when you arrive. Full steps: install and activate, and what to do if it will not connect.
Do I keep my normal number?＋
Yes. The eSIM runs alongside your physical SIM, so calls, texts and bank verification codes keep arriving on your usual number while data runs on Simfiy. Leave your home SIM on with its mobile data turned off and it costs you nothing in roaming.
