The fastest way to check
Dial *#06# on your phone. If you see an EID number (a long string of digits) alongside your IMEI, your device has an eSIM. You can also check in settings:
- iPhone: Settings → General → About → look for "Available SIM" or an EID entry.
- Samsung & Android: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → look for "Add eSIM".
- Google Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → "Download a SIM instead?"

- iPhone XS, XR and every iPhone since (including iPhone SE 2020 and newer).
- Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Note20, and the Z Fold / Z Flip range.
- Google Pixel 3 and newer (carrier-dependent on a few early models).

Two things to double-check
Your phone must be carrier-unlocked, and it needs to be one of the supported models above. If you bought your phone on a contract, ask your provider to confirm it's unlocked.
